What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Part Time Furniture Sales position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Furniture Sales employee, you need strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and basic sales abilities, often supported by prior retail experience or on-the-job training. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management platforms is typically expected. What jobs pay $4000 a week without a degree?

Part time furniture sales roles typically do not pay $4000 a week; high earnings in sales often depend on commissions, experience, and sales volume. Achieving such income part-time is uncommon and usually involves high commissions or business ownership.

Can you work part-time as a salesman?

Part-time furniture sales positions are common and typically involve working fewer hours than full-time roles, often including evenings and weekends. These roles usually require good communication skills and knowledge of the products, and they can be suitable for students or individuals seeking flexible schedules.

Part-Time Sales Associate — Del Sol Furniture | Phoenix, AZ
Want to earn great money on weekends without giving up your weekdays?
Del Sol Furniture is looking for motivated, people-oriented part-time sales associates for our Phoenix showroom. This is a weekend-focused role designed for someone who wants real earning potential without a full-time commitment.
We're a locally owned furniture retailer serving the Phoenix metro since 1997. Four beautiful showrooms, a loyal customer base, and a team that rewards performance — not just clock hours.

What You'll Earn:

  • $18–$23 per hour guaranteed weekly draw
  • Uncapped commission — every month we reconcile what you sold. Sell more than your draw and you keep the difference. No ceiling.
  • The more you sell, the more you make — simple as that
  • Paid training from day one

Why This Role Works for You:

  • Weekend-focused scheduling — perfect if you have a weekday job, go to school, or just want your weekdays free
  • Flexible shifts built around your life
  • No full-time commitment required
  • Path to full-time if that's where you want to go
  • Generous employee discount — style your home for less

What You'll Do:

  • Engage customers on the showroom floor and guide them through their furniture buying experience
  • Learn our product lines, financing options, and sales process through paid training
  • Hit your personal sales goals and contribute to the store team
  • Represent Del Sol's culture and values on every shift you work

Who We're Looking For:

  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a performance-based environment
  • Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly
  • Customer-first mindset — you go above and beyond
  • Team player who lifts others up
  • Available Saturday and Sunday — weekend availability is required for this role
  • Background in retail, hospitality, automotive, or customer service? You're already ahead.
  • No furniture experience needed — we'll train the right person

Our Core Values — We Live These Every Day

We hire and evaluate our entire team against six core values:

  • Integrity
    — Do the right thing, always. Open and honest communication builds trust.
  • Teaming — Set aside ego for the good of the team. Lift others up.
  • Excellence — Be your best, every day. Our customers come back because of it.
  • Kaizen — Never stop improving. Small steady improvements create big results.
  • Perseverance — Finish what you start, even when it's hard.
  • Awesomeness — Enjoy your work and make it enjoyable for others. It's our culture.

If these resonate with you, you'll fit right in.

This is a part-time, in-person position at our Phoenix showroom
