Your Role
Oversees and manages all operational activities related to merchandise flow and offsite storage solutions for domestic stores. The Manager, Store Operations - Merch Flow plays a crucial role in leading a team that ensures seamless execution of all processes as rolled out and implemented in the stores with a focus on driving innovation and operational efficiencies. This role involves collaborating with field leaders and various home office partners to ensure business objectives are met and completed on time.
Your Impact
• Provides strategic leadership for merchandise flow activities including offsite and remote storage and fleet operations ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and driving a consistent, high-quality customer experience and merchandise availability across stores.
• Owns the design, implementation, and sustainment of merch flow programs and seasonal strategies that enable shipment processing, replenishment, store capacity, recovery standards, markdown execution, and backroom organization.
• Leads annual offsite strategy focusing on fiscal responsibility ensuring the team reviews offsite needs and works to reduce costs and drives operational efficiencies.
• Oversees offsite storage, remote stockroom, U Haul rental, and fleet vehicle programs, ensuring timely setup, cost control, accurate billing, and compliance with company policies.
• Oversees renewals, and approvals for offsite and remote storage locations in partnership with Real Estate and Finance.
• Champions continuous improvement by synthesizing field insights, identifying systemic opportunities, and leading solutions that simplify and standardize stock-to-flow processes.
• Is a trusted business partner for all brand(s) (VSL, PINK, VSB), influencing inventory flow decisions and advocating for brand-specific priorities while ensuring enterprise consistency.
• Owns the strategic evolution of merchandise flow tools and capabilities, ensuring they remain aligned with program objectives, operational needs, and future scalability.
• Leads communication strategy by developing clear, actionable messaging and educational resources that enable field leadership and store teams to execute effectively.
• Develops field leadership capability through training, coaching, and reinforcement of merchandise flow standards, organization principles, and operational best practices.
• Establishes, authors, and maintains enterprise merchandise flow standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance across the field.
• Oversees operational support channels (e.g., merchandise flow inbox), setting priorities, providing direction, and ensuring timely issue resolution to support daily store operations.
• Leads and develops direct reports, ensuring clear ownership, strong execution, and alignment to seasonal and enterprise priorities.
• Acts as a liaison between Stores, Transportation, Demand & Deployment, Real Estate, Finance, HR, Risk Management, Asset Protection, and vendor partners to ensure coordinated execution of product flow to stores with minimal disruption to store teams.
• Responsible for budget development and management for merch flow related programs, including offsite leases, fleet operations, and labor impacts.
• Supports regulatory requirements, risk mitigation initiatives, and cross functional enterprise projects as necessary

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• 5-7 years of specialty retail and/or store operations experience preferred.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and influence teams.
• Strong knowledge of merchandise flow, store capacity, logistics, or store infrastructure operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive and field facing communication.
• Ability to work cross functionally and influence business partners at all levels.
• High degree of emotional intelligence; values based leader with emphasis on the Associate and Customer Experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 12-20 days per quarter as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint); experience with logistics, fleet, lease, or workflow management tools a plus.
