VAS Associate

a2b Fulfillment is a fast-growing, third-party provider of distribution support services, including Order Fulfillment, Contact Center Solutions, and a vast array of Value-Added services. We are currently recruiting for the position of VAS Associate for our Ogden, UT location.

All candidates must satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

The VAS/Receiving Associate is responsible for labeling, kitting, and palletizing retail orders for shipping. This role is repetitive in nature and could require packing the same product repetitively without changing to a different product. The associate will receive incoming shipments and ensure the incoming inventory matches what is in the system by investigating, attempting to resolve, and verifying any receiving item count variances. Separate customer returns from other items needing to be received or taken to a different department. Load and unload outbound shipments and check for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Kitting, Assembly, Repackaging, Labeling, Ticketing and other similar tasks for shipping
  • Use a tablet, scanner, and printer equipped with our pack out software to pack order appropriately
  • Manage inbound/outbound shipments
  • Check for correct labels, case count, pallet count, weights, and locations of delivery.
  • Verify all incoming freight.
  • Report any discrepancies with various departments regarding product condition, packing slips, and receiver reports.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Receiving and/or inventory experience (preferred)
  • Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
  • Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.
  • Continually meet assigned production standards.
  • Trained and certified to operate any required equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Able to stand, sit, kneel, bend for extended amount of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have ability to lift or move at least 40lbs
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team
  • Self-directed and self-motivated
  • Comply with company attendance policies
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Be at least 18 years old
