About the Role

In this role, you will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of merchandise presentation and space planning across all store formats. You will serve as a key partner to Merchandising, Planning, Store Operations, and Leadership to maximize sales productivity and brand differentiation. You will drive the implementation of enterprise priorities, ensuring they are translated into compelling, executable store experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Enhance merchandising capabilities at all organizational levels through targeted training, clear expectations, data-driven insights, and alignment with product strategies.

  • Develop and update comprehensive merchandising and visual standards.

  • Expand hands-on training opportunities for leaders both in-store and in dedicated training environments.

  • Design a merchandising mechanics training curriculum for all current and new associates.

  • Promote consistency and quality in-store execution by leveraging digital merchandising tools.

  • Improve pricing and signing execution through best practice certification

  • Develop a multi-year capital investment plan focused on fixture replacement, visual enhancements, and capacity maximization to ensure strong returns.

  • Increase sales productivity and customer engagement through effective merchandise presentation and in-store marketing within assigned categories.

  • Establish the vision for merchandise presentation and translate strategies into actionable plans for all store formats.

  • Oversee the implementation of merchandise presentation strategies related to space planning.

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to lead change management initiatives for space planning tools and priorities.

  • Set presentation standards that align with company sales, margin, and customer experience objectives.

  • Direct the planning and execution of merchandising initiatives and key seasonal strategies within assigned categories.

  • Manage the development and implementation of floor plans and planograms to support new product launches and seasonal transitions.

  • Lead the adoption of digital merchandising and space planning tools across the organization.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Merchandise Presentation Managers to drive continuous improvement across 14 regions.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, and IT to ensure seamless execution.

  • Oversee Merchandise Presentation capital projects within assigned categories.

  • Focus on fixture enhancements and capacity maximization to achieve measurable ROI.

  • Additional tasks may be assigned


 

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred)

  • 10+ years of progressive retail leadership experience in merchandising, space planning, store operations, or related functions

Preferred

  • Significant experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide teams in a multi-store environment
