Job description

Looking for a fry cook to work Friday to Sundays from 4pm to 11pm.

Job duties include prep and preparing food items according to the menu, menu has very few items so its very easy to learn. Located at the St Pete Pier - Spa Beach Bistro. (little to no experience required, we will teach you if you are willing to learn)

Friday to Sunday schedule required.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal dishes and popular items.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, and knives.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and notify management when stock is low.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Participate in training sessions on food handling, safety protocols, and new menu items.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and knowledge of food safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience with menu planning or working in a dietary department is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are necessary for success in this role.
