We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and support our growing dessert concept. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands strong team culture, and has working experience with Toast POS and menu management.

Key Responsibilities

·         Leadership & Operations

·         Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations

·         Supervise, train, and coach team members

·         Lead shifts and ensure smooth service execution

·         Assist with staff scheduling and labor management

·         Maintain health, safety, and sanitation compliance

·         Toast POS & Administrative Responsibilities

·         Manage and operate Toast POS system

·         Update menu items, pricing, modifiers, and seasonal specials in Toast

·         Run sales and labor reports to monitor performance

·         Troubleshoot basic POS issues and coordinate support when needed

·         Menu & Inventory Management

·         Assist with menu updates and seasonal rollouts

·         Maintain recipe consistency and portion control standards

·         Support inventory tracking and cost control

·         Assist with vendor ordering and supply management

·         Promote Excellent Guest Experience

·         Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly

·         Maintain a clean, welcoming environment

·         Drive sales through suggestive selling and promotions

·         Support marketing initiatives and local event participation

 

Qualifications

·         2+ years of restaurant or food service management experience

·         Experience using Toast POS, including menu updates and reporting

·         Experience with menu costing and inventory management

·         Strong leadership and communication skills

·         Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

·         Flexible availability including evenings and weekends

·         Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
