Your main job duties include overseeing staff, monitoring patients, and managing the facility’s day-to-day operations. You are the primary liaison between staff, patients, and patient families. This career requires you have previous work experience in an assisted living setting, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, and completion of a certificate program from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) to become a certified dementia care manager (CDCM).
