Job description

Our entertainment client is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager, Membership, to lead initiatives that drive audience growth, increase event attendance and strengthen membership engagement. This individual will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that expand reach, attract new audiences and foster long-term engagement across a variety of public programs and events. This is a temporary / contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in audience development, membership marketing, event marketing or community engagement, preferably within a nonprofit, cultural institution, museum, media, entertainment or sports organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, collaborative marketer who enjoys building audiences, creating meaningful member experiences and using data to inform marketing initiatives.
  • Pay Rate: $50.00/hour
  • Location: Midtown Manhattan (on-site, 5 days per week)
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow audiences and increase membership
  • Drive attendance for exhibitions, public programs and special events
  • Lead membership acquisition, retention and engagement initiatives
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media and community outreach channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop promotional campaigns and audience engagement strategies
  • Build partnerships with community organizations and other stakeholders to expand audience reach
  • Track campaign performance and provide insights to optimize future marketing efforts
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in audience development, membership, marketing or event marketing
  • Strong project management, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of the media, entertainment, sports, gaming or technology sectors
  • Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms is a plus
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus
