About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with our client, a highly respected membership-based organization, to identify a Membership Manager to oversee member engagement, account growth, and team leadership initiatives. This role will support executive-level member relationships while leading a high-performing engagement and business development team.
Job Description: The Membership Manager will lead membership engagement and relationship management efforts within an assigned market segment. This individual will oversee strategic member initiatives, revenue performance, retention efforts, and team development while ensuring a high-touch experience for executive-level members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support membership engagement and business development team members
  • Drive growth strategies related to member acquisition, engagement, renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Monitor team performance, forecasting, pipeline activity, and revenue goals
  • Coach and mentor team members on relationship-building and market-specific engagement strategies
  • Support executive-level conversations focused on member needs and strategic solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve membership experience, communication, and service offerings
  • Oversee onboarding and training initiatives for new team members
  • Analyze market trends and engagement activity to identify opportunities for growth and retention

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in membership engagement, account management, client success, or consultative relationship management within a member-based association professional setting
  • Prior leadership or team management experience required - managing at least 5 direct reports
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills
  • Excellent communication and executive presence
  • Strategic, solutions-oriented, and relationship-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
