Job description

Position Overview:
The Account Executive, Ticket Sales & Service (Memberships - New Business Development) main responsibility is to produce new ticket revenue by prospecting, qualifying, advancing the sales process, and closing new season membership accounts. You will sell new accounts to decision makers within the business community and consumer base over the phone and through outside sales appointments with businesses, organizations, and local residents.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Meet all sales goals assigned.
  • Set appointments over the phone with decision-makers, consistently meeting weekly goals for sales appointments and outbound activities.
  • Tailor sales packages according to each company's or prospect's needs.
  • Handle objections in an effort to bring in new season ticket membership accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential season ticket membership customers through diligent and consistent use of the CRM system and pipeline management system.
  • Prospect for quality leads, particularly through asking for referrals, outbound activity, research, and community involvement.
  • After a new membership account is sold, initiate the transfer of the account management responsibilities to a Membership Service Specialist to handle all future member account needs.
  • Provide customer service support, when necessary, to accounts handed off to the Membership Services team, by visiting with them during games and consistently following up to ensure the value promised during the sales process is fulfilled.
  • Be an active participant to all service and experience elements for members, ensuring the membership experience is first-class.
  • Work with the box office to update sales reports.
  • Complete any customer service and operational duties as assigned.

Experience
  • Must have previous sales experience in group sales or membership-based ticket sales, from a prior sports organization.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in sales, sales internships will count, with proven performance of success in sales.
