Job Description
The Member Service Representative III (MSR III) provides an exceptional member experience by assisting new and existing members with new account applications, consumer lending, and additional credit union products and services. This role serves as a subject matter expert on products, services, new accounts, and consumer lending processes while identifying opportunities to deepen member relationships. The MSR III assists members through inbound and outbound phone calls, digital channels, and other communication while handling complex service needs with professionalism and sound judgment. This position also ensures compliance with applicable federal and state laws, banking regulations, and credit union policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
· Process new memberships and additional accounts through online applications, including document verification, security screening, and follow-up for required information or documentation.
 · Provide high-quality service through inbound and outbound calls, digital channels, and other member contacts while resolving complex issues.
 · Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services and connect members with financial experts for investments, home loans, and financial counseling.
 · Apply knowledge of retail banking functions, including teller services, member service, loan origination, and relationship deepening.
 · Recognize potential fraud, loss, and reputation risks while maintaining compliance with OFAC, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
 · Minimum of four (4) years of sales, customer service, banking, or financial services experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
 · Teller and/or ITM experience preferred; prior contact center experience is also preferred.
 · Strong customer service, communication, computer, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required. Bilingual and two years of college-level education preferred.
