Job Description
The Member Service Representative III is responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences by supporting new account openings, consumer lending, and credit union services. This role processes applications, verifies documentation, and follows up on loan or account requirements while ensuring accuracy and compliance. The MSR III also engages members through phone, digital, and in-person channels to provide solutions and cross-sell financial products. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process new account applications and consumer loan requests
• Verify documentation, complete security screening, and follow up on missing information
• Provide high-quality member service across phone, digital, and in-person channels
• Cross-sell credit union products and services based on member needs
• Maintain compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and internal credit union policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 4 years of customer service, banking, sales, or financial services experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Teller, ITM, or contact center experience preferred
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, member-focused environment
