About the Role:

MedPOINT Management is looking for a detail-oriented HDO Credentialing Coordinator to join our team in Sherman Oaks, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring healthcare providers meet the highest standards of credentialing and compliance. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and are based in the Pacific Time zone, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare delivery organization (HDO) providers

Verify provider credentials, licenses, certifications, and work history in compliance with NCQA and regulatory standards

Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records in credentialing databases and systems

Coordinate with hospitals, medical groups, and health plans to facilitate timely credentialing approvals

Monitor expiring credentials and proactively initiate renewal processes to ensure continuous compliance

Prepare and present credentialing files for Credentialing Committee review

Respond to provider and internal team inquiries regarding credentialing status and requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or medical staff services

Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or Joint Commission credentialing standards

Experience with credentialing software and provider data management systems

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Must be located in the Pacific Time zone and available during PT business hours
