Job Description
The Medical Strategist plays a key role in shaping medical and marketing strategy for assigned brands and new business opportunities. This role provides scientific leadership, competitive insight, and content guidance across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, deep therapeutic understanding, and the ability to communicate complex science in a compelling and accessible way.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide scientific direction across assigned brands, ensuring content accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Educate internal teams on clinical data, disease state foundations, and competitive landscapes.
  • Guide the development and review of promotional and strategic materials from a medical perspective.
  • Support new business efforts by shaping scientific narratives, medical content, and competitive analyses.
  • Build strong client relationships, serving as a trusted partner on medical and scientific matters.

Qualifications
Required:
  • MSc or similar postgraduate scientific degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in medical strategy, medical communications, pharma/biotech, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize clinical and competitive insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead discussions, moderate groups, and collaborate across functions.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and brand strategy.

Desired:
  • PhD, MD, or PharmD.
  • Experience developing medical content for promotional or strategic initiatives.
  • Background supporting new business proposals or scientific storytelling.
