Sawmill Production Associate (High School Graduate), Preston, Georgia
At Interfor, we're more than a lumber company - we're helping build the homes, businesses, schools, and communities that people rely on every day. As a recent High School Graduate in Preston, Georgia, you'll be a part of a team that safely produces high-quality lumber products in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on experience for individuals interested in starting a career in the lumber manufacturing industry to gain real-world experience in a sawmill environment while working as part of an operations team.
The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
What You'll Do
  • Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of assigned area.
  • Assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill.
  • Observe and learn basic sawmill processes and safety practices.
