Responsibilities

Provide patient care in accordance with philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.  Works under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners in the medical office setting.  Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice after competency is established.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.
  • PREFERRED

     

  • Prior completion of state required X-ray safety course or begin course within 30 days of
  • employment and complete no later than 90 days, if performed at medical office location.

  • CMA or RMA
  • Work Hours:8:15am-4:45pmEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
