QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.

At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a medical office.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.

Experience working in a medical administrative or front desk role within a mental or behavioral health practice is preferred.

Adaptable to ever changing workload responsibilities and tasks

Ability to follow direction and have good time management skills

Ability to work as a team player

Basic understanding of HIPAA

Ability to pass a background check

Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screening

Associate degree required

MAs/LPNs are welcome

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Job responsibilities are but not limited to:

Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls

Maintain, update and create new client charts and databases

Scheduling appointments for providers

Collecting insurance cards

Verifying insurance eligibility

Collecting copays

Checking vital signs

Completing prior authorization

Customer service and client support

POSITION: Medical Office Receptionist

Full-time - 40 hours per week

Office hours are 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday

The position has a 90-day probationary period.

Pays $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
