Description:
The Notary Coordinator assists multiple offices with internal and external notary services. They are responsible for coordinating inter-office signing requests and the execution of escrow signings in our offices.
Typical duties of the position may include:
• Administrative duties: typing, filing, reporting, and phone use.
• Coordinate inter-office signing appointments across the state.
• Conduct closing appointments, including the explanation of all documents to customers.
• Notarize all documents as required by law.
• Communicate with the escrow teams and parties of the transaction to obtain necessary information, explain procedures and answer questions.
The Notary Coordinator may be assigned additional tasks in support of the department and/or other offices.
Minimum Requirements:
• Active Arizona Notary Commission
• Knowledge of escrow practices and terminology
• Experience with Arizona escrow document signings
• Detailed knowledge of Metropolitan Phoenix and neighboring cities
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to travel within the Phoenix-Metro area
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills & working knowledge of Microsoft Office
