Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Medical Secretary to join our Hematology Oncology team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients and providers, ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting the daily administrative operations of a busy specialty practice.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome patients and manage the check-in/check-out process.
  • Answer and triage incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Schedule patient appointments, procedures, and diagnostic exams.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update patient medical records.
  • Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications for procedures and exams.
  • Scan and organize medical documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and office team members to support efficient patient care.
  • Maintain proficiency with office technology and electronic health record systems.
  • Support clinical staff with clerical tasks while contributing to a positive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of healthcare or medical office experience required.
  • Previous Medical Secretary or equivalent administrative experience required.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
