Job Title: Material HandlerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for our packer and re-stacking role. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for using a step stool to adjust pallets from 12 feet to 8 feet. This position is based in a cleanroom kit assembly facility, ensuring a clean and easy work environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack materials for distribution.
- Restack pallets using appropriate tools.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Lift, scan, load, and unload materials.
- Operate forklifts and order pickers when necessary.
- Follow written work instructions accurately.
Essential Skills
- Ability to count items accurately, especially when products require specific quantities.
- Capability to stand for 8 hours during shifts.
- Strength to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Proficiency in following written work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse or picking roles.
- Experience in manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
- Familiarity with kit assembly processes.

Work Environment
The facility is a world-class cleanroom where employees will work in close quarters. Assemblers are required to fully gown up to maintain the cleanroom standards. This is a first-shift position, from 6 am to 2:30 pm, offering a structured work schedule.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukegan, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
