We are currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator in Farmingdale, New York. The Inventory Coordinator opportunity is a full-time role with excellent healthcare benefits, 401k matching, and generous PTO. As an Inventory Coordinator at ICON, you will ensure the efficient management of our warehouse and receiving operations by supporting the seamless flow of materials and products that contribute to our clinical research initiatives.
What You Will Do:
You will contribute to supply chain and procurement activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure timely availability for ongoing projects.
  • Overseeing inventory control procedures like rotating stock according to expiration dates and lot numbers.
  • Participating in regular audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Placing and reconciling purchase orders with vendors to ensure departments like Kit Assembly and Logistics remain stocked with necessary materials.
  • Receives all incoming supplies for Kit Assembly, Clinical Sample Processing, and Logistics departments.
  • Track all raw material inventories for Kit Assembly and Logistics.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Implementing best practices for safety and compliance in all warehouse activities.
  • Training and supervising warehouse staff to foster a productive and engaged team environment.

Your Profile:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management, sample processing, clinical supplies, or other regulated environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Salary: $23/ hour
