Job description

Our fast-paced industrial client located near Clifton Park, NY is seeking a Warehouse Technician for a temporary position, offering hands-on work in mechanical assembly, testing, and warehouse operations. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and are eager to contribute to a highly skilled team, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Technician will include:

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Perform calibration, diagnostics, and pressure/leak testing of finished products.
  • Inspect materials and completed parts to ensure quality and proper quantities.
  • Manage inventory of tools and components used in assembly processes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair customer-returned items with functional or cosmetic issues.
  • Maintain documentation of repairs, calibrations, and production status in real time.
  • Operate and learn equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and other warehouse tools.
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety programs.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Contribute positively to team goals and overall business success.

Qualifications of the Warehouse Technician:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new tools and processes
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints, technical schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
  • Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working overhead
