Job SummaryAssist in the care of Imaging and Cardiac Services patients with a large emphasis on transporting patients to and from in-patient units, outpatient areas and the emergency department. Assisting in the movement of patients from the imaging equipment, wheelchairs, and carts. Assists with documentation to facilitate the care of the patient and the completion of the Imaging record. Cleans equipment, stocks supplies and manages linen for specific areas. Works closely with imaging technologists.
Job Responsibilities- Transports patients, equipment, and specimens
- Assists in obtaining patient history
- Assists with getting patient on and off of imagining equipment
- Stocks supplies, including monitoring oxygen tank levels
- Supports imaging front desk clerical duties
- Other duties as assigned within scope of practice
