Job description

International Financing Review (IFR), the leading source of information on fixed income and equity markets, is seeking a Deputy Credit Editor to write and edit stories on the US credit markets from our busy New York bureau.
What you'll do:
โ€ข Edit copy and contribute ideas for story coverage
โ€ข Write real-time spot news and longer pieces for the weekly magazine and IFRe.com
โ€ข Collaborate with a small, experienced team of reporters who have unique access to market leaders and decision-makers in US capital markets
What we're looking for:
โ€ข Strong knowledge of US bond markets
โ€ข Excellent organizational skills and the ability to cultivate contacts, think analytically, and write with clarity and impact
โ€ข 3-5 years' experience in financial markets and/or business journalism
Preferred experience:
โ€ข Managing reporters, assigning stories, motivating staff and editing copy
โ€ข Overseeing day-to-day operations of a credit desk
โ€ข Driving coverage of breaking US credit market news (deals, industry trends, key people) and explaining complex topics in an accessible way

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $98,300 - $163,800.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
