Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Training Content Developer II to design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions that support employee performance and business objectives. This role combines instructional design expertise, eLearning development, and stakeholder collaboration to create high-quality instructor-led and digital training programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and define learning objectives.
  • Design and develop instructor-led training, eLearning courses, job aids, assessments, participant guides, and reference materials.
  • Build engaging digital learning experiences using approved authoring tools, including Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise preferred).
  • Lead content gathering sessions, facilitate reviews, and incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the development process.
  • Manage course development projects, providing regular status updates and ensuring milestones are met.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and LMS testing to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and learner experience.
  • Maintain training materials, version control, and content libraries to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
  • Support multimedia development, including voice-over recording, editing, and integration into learning solutions.
  • Recommend instructional strategies that align with learner needs and business goals.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or corporate training. Experience developing both instructor-led and eLearning training solutions is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word), LMS platforms, and eLearning authoring tools. Experience with Articulate 360, Vyond, or WellSaid is relevant.
General Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills. Strong project management, organization, and time management abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications in instructional design, training, or learning technologies.
  • Experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, and multimedia development tools.
