Position Summary

AI Capital is seeking a hands-on, operator-focused Production Lead to support fabrication and production activities for our mobile medical coaches and trailers.
This role is responsible for helping lead daily floor execution, production coordination, build sequencing, fabrication quality, and team accountability while actively participating in fabrication and systems integration activities.
We do not manufacture chassis โ€” we transform them into fully operational mobile healthcare environments. This includes electrical systems, generators, HVAC, plumbing/water systems, cabinetry/interior fabrication, structural modifications, medical equipment integration, and final delivery readiness.
The ideal candidate has experience working in custom, space-constrained fabrication environments and understands how to balance customization with increasing production structure and standardization.
This is not a desk-management role. The Production Lead is expected to lead from the floor, work alongside the team, assist with troubleshooting and coordination, and help maintain production momentum and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day fabrication and production operations
  • Assist with production scheduling, workflow, and build sequencing
  • Help drive on-time completion across active coach and trailer builds
  • Coordinate labor allocation and production priorities alongside leadership
  • Assist with improving shop organization, efficiency, and workflow consistency
  • Help implement repeatable production processes and installation standards
  • Lead from the floor with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
  • Help mentor and develop fabrication personnel
  • Support accountability, productivity, and workmanship standards
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new fabrication staff
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented, and safety-focused shop culture
  • Support fabrication and coordination of electrical systems, generators, HVAC, plumbing, cabinetry, welding, and medical equipment integration
  • Help ensure all systems are properly installed, tested, and operational prior to customer delivery
  • Support quality control standards throughout all phases of production
  • Help reduce rework and post-delivery issues
  • Assist with improving production flow, organization, and scalability
  • Work closely with Operations, PM, Sales, and Service teams
  • Communicate production status, risks, and support needs clearly
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in RV manufacturing, specialty vehicle fabrication/upfitting, emergency vehicles, custom trailer fabrication, marine fabrication/interiors, or similar hands-on production environments
  • Proven hands-on fabrication experience
  • Prior leadership, foreman, or lead fabrication experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of multi-system fabrication environments
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts, and production plans
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience
  • Mobile or space-constrained fabrication environments
  • Multi-system integration within a single unit
  • Custom fabrication and production operations
  • Hybrid production/custom build environments
  • Process improvement and production standardization
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Hands-on operator mindset
  • Positive leadership approach
  • Accountability-driven
  • Strong communicator
  • Detail-oriented
  • Organized and process-focused
  • Adaptable in fast-paced production environments
  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
Growth Opportunity

This role is intended to evolve alongside the growth of the fabrication and production operation and may expand into broader production leadership responsibilities as the team and production volume continue to scale.
