Job description

Secretary II - Crisis Residential Unit
This position will be located at our Crisis Residential Unit in Dothan, AL
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Position will need to be flexible with working hours,
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining clinical records
  • Assisting therapeutic staff and Facility Director with clerical duties to ensure consumer needs are met
  • Ordering supplies
  • Billing for services
  • Completing insurance verification
  • Generating/maintaining reports for various areas of the program
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • At least (1) year experience in a medical office environment with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A valid drivers license with good MVR
  • Must also be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Successful completion of post-secondary courses in business, typing, business office practices or medical billing/coding is preferred.
  • OR at least one year work experience in a medical administrative role, completing insurance billing and verifications
