Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant looking for a stable full-time opportunity? Join a dedicated healthcare team providing quality medical care within a correctional healthcare setting. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience while working alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do
  • Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.

  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.

  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control standards.

  • Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing within your scope of practice.

  • Administer medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care services.

  • Assist with intake screenings, health assessments, and chronic care clinics.

  • Monitor and stock medical supplies and equipment.

  • Respond to medical emergencies and assist the healthcare team as needed.

Qualifications
