Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist

Location: Plano, TX 75093

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will provide clinical support to physicians and nursing staff, perform phlebotomy procedures, and ensure excellent patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from patients using proper phlebotomy techniques.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform vital signs measurement and basic clinical tasks.
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of specimens to the laboratory.
  • Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment following infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
