About us: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our team. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues, we invite you to join our dedicated team of professionals. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including, but not limited to the below.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs moderate level administrative functions (word processing, excel, and/or other MS Office applications)
  • May assist with bi-weekly and hourly payroll information
  • Prepares bank deposits and statements of revenue as needed
  • Enter Patient demographic and insurance information to EHR
  • Process patient payments and follow up on account balances
  • Complete payroll and timesheets
  • Prepares and submits billings as needed
  • Assists with statistical reporting and facilities management as needed
  • Responsible for disbursement, maintenance and reconciliation of petty cash as required
  • Establishes, maintains and updates the filing system
  • Compiles reports; updates, checks and completes records, forms and documents
  • Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive documents
  • Answers phones, greets consumers/visitors.
  • Performs other general clerical duties (typing, filing, distributing mail, etc.)
  • Operates and maintains a variety of office equipment

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
