Job description

Associa is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant for one of their sited communities in Reno, NV. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting with office activities and administrative tasks. Our Administrative Assistants provide customer service support working closely with the Community Manager and residents. This is a great role to enter the Association Management industry and provides growth opportunities within our organization.

How you will make an impact:
• Receive and respond to homeowners, Board members, and vendors.
• Create any needed communication for the office.
• Provide general office support as needed.
• Keep the association's databases updated.
• File association documents for community manager and arrange document pick-up when necessary.
• Provide Move-In Orientation to new residents.
• Prepares and assists community manager with house mailings and accounting tasks.
• Organize and prepare correspondence relating to association business.
• Conduct onsite property inspections when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
$19-$21/hour; direct experience highly considered.
Schedule:
This position is full-time onsite, 40 hours per week. Business hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, five days a week (MON-FRI).
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 1 - 3 years of related administration, customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)
• Professional customer service skills
• Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level
• Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level
• Knowledge of general office equipment (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.)
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms
• Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities
• Time management & organizational skills required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
