Job description

About the Role

Leo Auto Group is looking for a Social Media Manager to own our content creation and social media presence across nine dealerships and a Harley-Davidson store in Indiana.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be the one behind the camera, in the edit, and posting the content - not managing a team that does it. You'll shoot video, take photos, design graphics, and manage our social channels across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You'll work closely with our Marketing Director and be part of the team that shapes how people experience our brand online.

We're a dealership group that does things differently. Our owner started on the shop floor at 18 and built this from one store to nine. The culture here is real, and your job is to show that - not manufacture it.

What You'll Do

- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for social media (short-form and long-form)

- Manage and grow social media accounts across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube for the group and individual stores

- Create graphics for social posts, promotions, and internal communications

- Photograph vehicles, events, team members, and community involvement

- Develop content calendars and maintain a consistent posting schedule

- Track performance metrics and adjust strategy based on what's actually working

- Coordinate with store teams to capture authentic moments and stories

- Cover community events and sponsorships with photo/video content

- Stay current on platform trends, especially short-form video

What We're Looking For

- Experience creating social media content (professional or personal - show us what you've built)

- Comfortable shooting and editing video on your phone and/or camera

- Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)

- Strong eye for visual storytelling

- You understand what performs on TikTok vs. Facebook vs. Instagram - they're not the same

- Self-starter who can manage their own schedule and priorities

- Valid driver's license (you'll travel between locations)

What You Don't Need

- A marketing degree

- Agency experience

- Five years of corporate social media management

If you've been building a following, creating content for a local business, or running social for a brand you believe in - that experience counts here.

What We Offer

- $40,000-$50,000 depending on experience

- Health, dental, and vision insurance

- 401(k)

- Paid time off

- Employee vehicle purchase program
