Job description

The Associate Director of Media Analytics turns media and marketing data into clear recommendations that improve campaign performance and results. This role sits within the analytics team with a focus on media campaigns and leads day-to-day analytics across assigned accounts, with a strong focus on media measurement, optimization, reporting, and performance storytelling. The Associate Director will also help strengthen media analytics capabilities across the broader Analytics organization by serving as an important resource for media measurement best practices and collaborating with Media, Data, and Data Science teams.
You will work closely with Strategy, Creative, MarTech, and Client Services to connect campaign activity to audience behavior, engagement, conversion, and commercial impact. We are looking for hands-on analysis, client consultation, and reliable delivery.
You Will:
  • Team Development & Capability Building
    • Be a subject matter expert for paid media analytics and measurement best practices.
    • Mentor and support analysts across the Analytics team, helping build media analytics knowledge and capabilities.
    • Contribute to the development of training materials, documentation, and reusable frameworks that improve consistency and efficiency across media analytics engagements.
    • Partner with Analytics, Media, Data, and Data Science teams to help advance media analytics capabilities, including improved access to media delivery and performance data for reporting, advanced analytics, and AI-driven initiatives.
    • Share industry trends, measurement approaches, and platform best practices with analytics and media teams.
    • Support the continued growth of media analytics capabilities across the broader Analytics organization.

    Client Partnership & Measurement Strategy
    • Lead daily media analytics support for assigned client accounts.
    • Translate business and media goals into measurement strategies, Measurement frameworks, reporting requirements, and learning agendas.
    • Present performance findings, possible effects, and recommended actions to client and our teams.
    • Support analytics strategy for proposals, pitches, and RFPs.

    Media Analytics & Optimization
    • Measure performance across paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, connected TV, endemic, and other healthcare media channels.
    • Partner with Media teams to define KPIs, benchmarks, pacing expectations, and test plans before launch.
    • Analyze delivery, reach, frequency, engagement, conversion, cost efficiency, audience quality, and downstream outcomes.
    • Recommend changes to budget allocation, audience strategy, channel mix, placements, creative rotation, bidding, and campaign structure.
    • Compare performance across channels, publishers, tactics, audiences, geographies, and creative projects.
    • Lead post-campaign analysis and translate findings into recommendations for future media planning.

    Platforms and Reporting
    • Work with data from ad servers, DSPs, search and social platforms, website analytics, CRM systems, CDPs, publisher reports, and healthcare data providers.
    • Partner with Data and Technology teams to improve tagging, taxonomy, data integration, identity resolution, and data quality.
    • Use SQL and visualization tools to validate data, identify trends and anomalies, and build scalable reporting solutions.
    • Develop dashboards and recurring reports that prioritize insights and recommended actions over reporting volume.
    • Maintain QA, documentation, and governance standards across analyses and deliverables.
    • Identify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve monitoring, insight generation, and analytical efficiency.

    Delivery & Collaboration
    • Build partnerships across Media, Analytics, Strategy, Martech, and Data teams to align measurement approaches and support data-driven decision-making.
    • Manage priorities and timelines across multiple analytics workstreams.
    • Review outputs for accuracy, clarity, methodological rigor, and relevance.
    • Create reusable frameworks and templates that improve the consistency and efficiency of analytics delivery.
    • Collaborate across Analytics, Media, Strategy, Creative, Martech, and Client Services.
You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience in media analytics, marketing analytics, or performance measurement, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing paid media and turning findings into specific optimization recommendations.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts and supporting the development of analytical capabilities across teams.
  • Experience working with partners, including media, data, technology, or data science teams.
  • Experience across paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, connected TV, and publisher or endemic media.
  • Understanding of patient and healthcare professional journeys, healthcare data ecosystems, and regulated marketing measurement.
  • Experience with healthcare data providers such as Crossix, Komodo, IQVIA, or comparable sources is preferred.
  • Experience with platforms such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Campaign Manager 360, Google Ads, Meta, DSPs, and GTM.
