Job description

Position Summary
We are searching for a Maintenance Technician to support production and facility maintenance operations at our client’s manufacturing and distribution facility in Indianapolis. In this position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, automation systems, and facility infrastructure while helping to minimize downtime and support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment utilizing up to 480V, 3-phase electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot automated equipment and assist with PLC-related diagnostics
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
  • Comple work orders and document maintenance activities within the CMMS system
  • Work closely with production and department leaders to prioritize repairs and maintenance
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
  • Technical degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience is required
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Experience working with a CMMS or computerized work order system
  • Working knowledge of 480V, 3-phase electrical systems
  • Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and PLC-controlled machinery
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Welding, fabrication, and machining experience is preferred
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Temporary position
  • Pay rate is $28.00 - $33.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
  • 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Saturday overtime
