MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CO-OP
Co-op opportunity for Mechanical Engineering majors. Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering with a dual major or minor in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred. A co-op in this position will work within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
Education and Experience
  • Currently attending an accredited college or university
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
  • Advanced mechatronic and or automation concept R&D
  • Additive manufacturing experience
  • Test fixture concept design and fabrication - hardware and software
  • Additive manufacturing standards evaluation from ASTM, SAE and ISO
  • Design Tools - CREO or Solidworks
  • Instrumentation simple electronic systems
  • Methods - FMEA, Six Sigma
  • Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Instrumentation simple electronic systems
  • Analysis Tools - MATLAB, Minitab
  • Hands on skills with mechanical tools, shop
  • Computer Language - HTML/Visual Basic
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office Tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
