Job Summary
Working under the direction of Mechanical Engineers, the Mechanical Engineering Co-op will complete design and testing activities on new products and modification to existing products.
Essential Functions

  • Create new designs and modifications of existing designs using CAD.

  • Create studies and geometry comparisons of existing envelopes to confirm form and fit of revised/modified designs.

  • Develop new CAD assemblies and models from concept sketches.

  • Execute product testing plans to verify new product designs.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma and active enrollment in the co-operative education program of an accredited university pursuing mechanical engineering required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Training in CAD modeling and assembly.

  • Experience building parts and assemblies using 3D printers is a plus.

  • Must work well with others.

The hourly pay rate for this position is:

$20.00 to $24.00
