Job description

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Director of Mechanical Engineering for their Tampa team!




Responsibilities:

  • Lead/direct design of public/private development projects
  • Recruit/build a strong engineering team
  • Represent the team/firm in project and client interviews
  • Assist with marketing firm to clients
  • Work with internal team members
  • Attend meetings with clients, local authorities, and other professionals
  • Review designs prepared by others to ensure they adhere to QA/QC standards



Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • 12+ years of Mechanical design experience
  • PE License
  • Experience leading a design team
  • Experience designing multiple types of projects (architectural/industrial)
  • Broad HVAC/Plumbing design experience for a variety of building/system types



Salary is commensurate with experience.
