Job description

12th February, 2026
Our client, a leading aerospace and flight simulation company, is seeking a Mechanical Analysis Engineer to join their growing team in Southampton, PA.
This position is open due to an internal promotion and company growth, providing an opportunity to contribute to the analysis and validation of advanced flight simulation systems. The role offers exposure to both product design verification and manufacturing process validation, with opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives. You'll apply mechanical analysis and FEA tools to ensure component performance, support assembly and testing as needed, and help maintain compliance with aerospace standards.
In this role, the majority of your work will be office-based, performing detailed FEA analysis and verifying mechanical system performance, with occasional collaboration on the shop floor to support assembly and testing questions. You'll review and verify component performance, troubleshoot issues with installed or tested assemblies, and translate observations into actionable recommendations. You'll work closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and reliability of flight simulation systems.
If you're a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in FEA analysis and want to tackle complex aerospace challenges while contributing as part of a talented, collaborative team, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical analysis and support design verification using Autodesk Inventor and FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, or similar
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with components or systems, recommending improvements and documenting approved changes
  • Interpret test data and correlate results with simulations to ensure product performance
  • Support assembly and bench testing of components and systems, providing technical guidance to shop floor teams
  • Document analysis results, technical findings, and recommendations for cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing process validation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical analysis of complex systems, such as aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial machinery, or robotics.
  • Hands-on experience performing mechanical analysis using FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, or similar
  • Experience interpreting FEA results and correlating them with physical test or lab data
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend actionable improvements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and cross-functional teams
  • US Citizen or lawful US Resident
Location: Southampton, PA
Onsite: Daily Monday-Friday
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, Life and AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability, annual performance review, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
This role is designed for long-term growth, with a clear path toward senior mechanical engineering responsibilities as experience develops.
If this aligns with your experience, please apply and one of our recruiters will be in touch.
