Job Description Summary
As a Staff Engineer, you will leverage your experience and technical expertise to solve challenging engineering problems using finite element analysis (FEA). You will develop and execute analysis objectives for yourself and others under your direction, while contributing to both short-term execution and longer-term business goals. You will also demonstrate leadership in communicating program objectives, technical progress, and key processes across your area of responsibility or business segment.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement finite element stress analysis (FEA) plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and program commitments
  • Execute the finite element stress analysis of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
  • Create finite element models (FEM) as needed using a variety of tools ( ANSYS, Hypermesh, UG, etc)
  • Provide technical and program leadership to domestic and global engineering personnel assigned to support the analysis efforts; mentors others in the organization
  • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum 6 years of experience in an engineering position.

The base pay range for this position is 149,500.00 - 200,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 6th, 2026.
