Job description

Clean Eatz is hiring a dependable Line Cook & Meal Prep Assembler to join our kitchen team. This hands-on position includes preparing café orders, completing food prep, and assembling our weekly meal-plan meals. We are looking for someone who works efficiently, follows recipes accurately, maintains a clean kitchen, and is willing to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook café menu items according to Clean Eatz recipes
  • Complete daily food-preparation tasks
  • Cook proteins, vegetables, rice, pasta, and other menu ingredients
  • Assemble and package weekly meal-plan meals
  • Accurately portion ingredients using scales and measuring tools
  • Label, date, rotate, and properly store prepared food
  • Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards
  • Stock and organize kitchen stations
  • Monitor ingredient levels and communicate shortages
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment, counters, floors, and work areas
  • Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination procedures
  • Work efficiently with other kitchen and front-of-house employees
  • Assist with additional store responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous line cook, prep cook, kitchen, or food-service experience preferred
