BASIC FUNCTIONS

The Strategic Sales Logistics Coordinator manages the full lifecycle of customer orders, ensuring accurate processing, timely shipments, and alignment of inventory with sales demand. The role supports sales initiatives by preparing logistics documentation, resolving shipping issues, and coordinating with internal teams and external providers. It also drives process improvements, upholds quality and safety standards, and provides reporting to enhance operational efficiency. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Coordinate the processing of customer orders from incoming receipt through outbound delivery.
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet sales forecasts.
  • Work with procurement and warehouse teams to align stock availability with demand.
  • Provide logistical support for sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Assist in preparing quotes, shipping schedules, and delivery timelines.
  • Generate reports for strategic sales & operations to optimize processes.
  • Act as a liaison between internal sales and logistics teams, and external logistics providers.
  • Resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Understand and comply with all customer quality requirements.
  • Support a safe work environment, using safety equipment, ensure safety equipment used in the areas is proper, safe, and used in a productive manner.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and safety standards.

STANDARD REQUIREMENTS

Comply with all requirements of International Standard ISO9001 and ISO27001, NIST 800-171, CMMC – Cyber Security and Informational Data Security Requirements. Aerospace Management System Standards AS9100, AS9120, IDEA-QMS-9090, ASA-100 and supporting construct standards AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010, AC7402-CAAP, CCAP-101, FAA AC00-56, ANSI/ESD S20.20. All employees shall commit and comply with the requirements of AS5553 for Counterfeit Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) Parts – Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation and Disposition practices.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCY

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Additional training or certification in logistics, inventory management, or sales operations is a plus.
  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain, sales operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong customer empathy/superior customer service skills.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
