Position Summary
MATERNAL FETALMEDICINE FACULTY POSITION WITH OPPORTUNITY FOR INNOVATION IN FLIGHT TRANSPORT AND EDUCATION ACROSS MATERNAL HEALTH DESERTS DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS& GYNECOLOGY UNIVERSITY OF NEWMEXICO, SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Practicing maternal fetal medicine at the University of New Mexicomeans holistic work to improve outcomes for pregnant and postpartum people inthis state. We provide care both locallyand in outreach clinics that primarily partner with Indian Health Services andTribal hospitals. We are clinicalteachers of students, residents and fellows. We lead research that is clinically significant to our patients with respectto health inequities. Our work is multidisciplinary as our patient's outcomeshinge not only on excellent clinical care but navigation of complex healthrelated social needs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
  • Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with Subspecialty Boarded Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Completion of a Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration
