Syntax is seeking an MM Public Cloud Consultant to support the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions with a focus on Materials Management. In this role, you will work closely with clients and cross-functional project teams to translate business requirements into effective cloud-based supply chain solutions, helping organizations improve process efficiency, standardization, and operational visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, goods movements, material master data, and material planning.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and support the alignment of business processes with standard SAP Public Cloud functionality.
  • Participate in fit-to-standard workshops and document business requirements, process decisions, and functional requirements.
  • Perform hands-on configuration of MM functionality within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
  • Support integration with related SAP functional areas and work closely with other functional and technical team members.
  • Prepare and execute unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Assist with data migration activities, including data validation and reconciliation.
  • Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and work with the project team to resolve defects and configuration issues.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, process documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to business users as needed.
  • Participate throughout the implementation lifecycle and contribute to the successful delivery of project milestones.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Materials Management or related supply chain functional roles.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, preferably including Public Cloud implementations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end MM processes, including purchasing, inventory, material master data, and logistics execution.
  • Experience supporting SAP implementation projects from design through deployment.
  • Ability to lead requirements workshops and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience with testing, documentation, and production support activities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented consulting environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud best practices, extensibility concepts, and fit-to-standard delivery approach.
  • Exposure to adjacent SAP functional areas such as SD, MM-IM, procurement integration, or supply chain planning.
  • Experience working in consulting or client-facing project environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud transformation programs and enterprise process standardization initiatives.
  • An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • SAP certification in Materials Management, SAP S/4HANA, or Public Cloud solutions preferred.
  • Additional certifications in supply chain, procurement, or related SAP functional areas are an asset.
