Hiring Opportunity: McConnelsville Ohio
Our client is looking to hire a materials planner for their team in McConnelsville, Ohio! Our client is a leader in developing and manufacturing high-precision, high-strength components for a wide range of industries.
The material planner would be responsible for ensuring the availability of the materials and components required for production and customer demand.
Qualified candidates would have experience with SAP, inventory management, and a background in planning manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing MRP results, demand signals, inventory levels, and supply coverage in SAP.
- Creating and monitoring purchase requisitions, planned orders, and scheduling requirements.
- Coordinating material quantities and delivery dates with Purchasing, suppliers, Logistics, and Production.
- Monitoring open purchase orders, confirmations, overdue deliveries, and supply deviations.
- Identifying and escalating material shortages, delivery risks, excess inventory, and obsolete stock.
- Maintaining planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, and reorder points.
- Supporting inventory accuracy and master-data corrections.
- Following up with suppliers regarding delayed or incomplete deliveries.
- Preparing reports related to material availability, shortages, inventory, coverage, and supplier performance.
Job Requirements:
- Material planning and MRP processes.
- SAP or a comparable ERP system.
