LES TACHES QUE VOUS ALLEZ ACCOMPLIR

  • Diriger et executer une gamme diversifiee de taches d'ingenierie telles que la qualification des materiaux, supporter des initiatives de reduction des couts, la resolution de problemes de non-conformite des pieces, les problemes en production et la gestion des changements de materiaux chez les fournisseurs au sein de l'equipe d'ingenierie des materiaux et des procedes.
  • Diriger l'elaboration des plans de test, travailler avec les laboratoires internes et externes, analyser les resultats et examiner/approuver les rapports de test.
  • Soutenir la redaction, la revision  et l'approbation des specifications des materiaux et des processus de finition et la bibliotheque de Produits Qualifies Associes.
  • Examiner et approuver les dessins techniques et la documentation des modifications.
  • Soutenir les projets d'innovation et les activites de re-conception, enqueter sur les nouvelles reglementations environnementales ayant un impact sur les technologies de finition.
  • Gerer des problemes complexes, prendre des decisions techniques difficiles et fournir des mises a jour regulieres a la haute direction.
  • Diriger et participer aux initiatives d'optimisation des processus, d'amelioration continue, et de reduction des couts.
  • Apporter une expertise technique dans les domaines des metaux, traitements de surface, polymeres, revetements, finitions de protection, sellerie, cuir, menuiserie et inflammabilite interieure.

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

  • Lead and perform a diversified range of engineering tasks such as leading material qualifications, supporting cost reduction initiatives, solving part non-conformity issues, production line problems and managing supplier material changes as part of the Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering team.
  • Lead development of test plans, work with internal and external laboratories, analyze results and review/approve test reports.
  • Support writing, review & approval of Materials & Processes Specifications for Completions and associated Qualified Product Library.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and change documentation.
  • Support innovation projects and re-design activities, investigate new environmental regulations impacting Completions.
  • Handle complex issues, make challenging technical decisions and provide regular status updates to upper management.
  • Lead and participate in process optimization, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise in the domains of metallics, surface treatments, polymers, coatings, protective finishes, upholstery, leather, woodworking and interior flammability.

Requirements

VOTRE PROFIL EST ESSENTIEL A NOTRE REUSSITE 

  • Vous etes titulaire d'un baccalaureat en genie des materiaux, mecanique ou chimique d'une universite accreditee.
  • Vous possedez un minimum de dix (10) annees d'experience tant qu'ingenieur(e) M&P dans un environnement de production aerospatiale/militaire.
  • Vous disposez de connaissances approfondies sur les materiaux et procedes interieurs d'avions tels que les traitements de surface, les revetements, les finitions de protection, le cuir, la sellerie, le travail du bois, etc.
  • Vous connaissez les normes typiques de l'industrie militaire et/ou aerospatiale telles que CMH-17, les specifications MIL, les reglementations federales, les specifications ASTM, ISO et SAE.
  • Vous avez de solides connaissances sur les exigences d'inflammabilite selon la reglementation FAR 25.
  • Vous maitrisez les principes de conception technique et la revision des dessins.
  • Vous possedez d'excellentes competences en organisation et en planification de projets.
  • Vous etes apte a resoudre des problemes d'ingenierie dans un environnement sous haute pression et pouvez traiter des problemes complexes rapidement et de maniere independante.
  • Vous possedez d'excellentes competences en communication en anglais et en francais (ecrit et oral).
  • Vous devez etre capable de travailler en equipe et d'interagir en permanence avec la haute direction, les professionnels et les techniciens des autres fonctions de la chaine de valeur (Methodes, Qualite, Logistique, etc.)
  • Vous maitrisez CATIA V5 et la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word et PowerPoint).

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

  • You have a bachelor degree in Materials, Mechanical or Chemical engineering from an accredited university.
  • You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as M&P in an aerospace/military production environment.
  • You have significant knowledge on aircraft interior materials and processes such as surface treatments, coatings, protective finishes, leather, upholstery, woodworking etc.
  • You are knowledgeable about typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as CMH-17, MIL specs, Federal regulations, ASTM, ISO and SAE specifications.
  • You have strong knowledge about flammability requirements according to FAR 25 regulations.
  • You are proficient in engineering design principles and reviewing drawings.
  • You have excellent organizational and project planning skills.
  • You are adept at solving engineering problems in a high-pressure environment and can deal with complex issues quickly and independently.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and French (written and oral).
  • You must be able to work in a team environment and interact constantly with Senior Management, Professionals and Technicians from other value stream functions (Methods, Quality, Logistics etc.)
  • You are proficient with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
