Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and prioritizes daily activities of the Material Control team to safely receive, transport and store EBAD Graham site inventory.
  • Ensures Graham site inert part Inventory accuracy 95% or greater overall and 100% accuracy all for energetic inventory.
  • Ensures on time delivery of inventory to EBAD Operations and Engineering teams while continuously striving to reduce fulfillment lead times.
  • Leads Graham site Cycle Counting program and report results. Manages and reports Root Cause and corrective actions if not meeting accuracy goals.
  • Manages shipping of inert and energetic products in accordance with all federal regulations (ATF, CFR 49, IATA).
  • Supports outside Audits from external authorities such as the BATF, DCMA, Fire Marshall, Deloitte and Customers
  • Tracks team performance metrics, reports in Gemba presentations and performs 5 why analysis for out of family results.
  • Trains department personnel in safe Logistics practices.
  • Establishes a vision for the department and works with team to improve processes based on data, observation and internal customer feedback. Utilizes Continuous Improvement mindset to improve processes (EBOS tools).
  • Participates in Union discussions and negotiations as required.

Requirements

  • College degree in relative field, and/or 5 years' experience in Logistics and/or Inventory Management. Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to meet ITAR, BATF requirements and pass all required background checks.
  • Aerospace and Defense company shipping experience a plus.
  • Experience using ERP systems to manage materials.
  • Inventory transaction, storage and cycle count experience required.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
  • Hazardous Material shipping and movement experience desired.
  • DOT CFR-49 certification at a minimum. IATA Certification a plus.
  • CDL with HazMat endorsement required 6 months after the award of position.
  • Government direct shipping experience desired. Knowledge of government Wide Area Workflow (WAWF's) process, Government Bills of Lading (GBL) and management of shipping firms (incoming/outgoing) to support schedule needs.
  • Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment. Energetic and positive. Ability to work independently. Processes an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Must be able to assist with all the daily duties required of the Material Control team and fill in when team members are absent.
