Job Title: Distribution Control Associate
Duration: 7-Month Contract
Location: Goleta, CA 93117 (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $20.42/hr on W2
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Distribution Control Associate to support shipping, receiving, stockroom, and inventory operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a motivated individual who is comfortable working on their feet, handling inventory, and ensuring accurate material movement using SAP and shipping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
  • Verify packing lists, quantities, and shipment conditions.
  • Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick kits, replenish inventory, and perform cycle counts.
  • Process inventory transactions accurately in SAP.
  • Prepare and package outbound shipments using DHL, FedEx, and other shipping systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution team.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, stockroom, or inventory operations.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn or use SAP.
  • Experience with shipping software such as FedEx or DHL is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and inventory counting experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and walk throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Valid California Driver's License preferred/required.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of SAP inventory transactions.
  • Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485, or ISO 9001.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or medical device environment.
