Program Materials Analyst - Utility Supply Chain & Materials Management
Location: (Primarily Remote with Occasional Onsite Meetings)

ExecuPOWER is a certified women-owned engineering consulting firm providing engineering design and project services throughout the power industry. Our expertise includes Transmission, Distribution, and Substation Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, QA/QC Inspection, and Renewable Energy solutions.
We are currently seeking a Program Materials Analyst to support a major utility infrastructure program. This role will work closely with Program Delivery, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction, and Project Management teams to ensure critical materials are forecasted, procured, tracked, and delivered to support large-scale electric utility projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in utility materials management, supply chain, procurement, inventory planning, project controls, demand planning, or utility construction support.
Position Overview
The Program Materials Analyst serves as a key member of the Program Delivery Team, supporting material planning and execution activities across a large electric utility capital program. This position is responsible for coordinating with Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction, Vendors, and Program Leadership to ensure material availability aligns with project schedules and program objectives.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities while communicating effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Materials Planning & Forecasting
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and vendor partners to develop material demand forecasts across utility transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
  • Support long-term and short-term demand planning activities to ensure material availability.
  • Analyze material requirements and identify potential supply risks before they impact project schedules.
  • Assist with inventory planning and procurement forecasting activities.

Program Delivery Support
  • Work closely with Engineering, Construction, Program Managers, and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials are procured and delivered according to project schedules.
  • Monitor material delivery performance and track key milestones.
  • Support project teams by identifying material constraints and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate material-related activities across multiple projects and stakeholders.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to communicate material status updates and delivery forecasts.
  • Participate in vendor performance reviews and quarterly business reviews.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, and contractors to improve material delivery performance.
  • Maintain strong working relationships across Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction, and Program Management organizations.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain material tracking reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor long-lead equipment and critical materials using established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare weekly status reports and executive-level updates for program leadership.
  • Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities related to materials management and supply chain performance.

Process Improvement
  • Participate in strategic initiatives designed to improve material planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management processes.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce material-related project risks.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across utility program delivery operations.
  • Collaborate with Materials Program Management to develop and implement best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting electric utility, transmission, distribution, substation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of utility construction materials, procurement processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with ERP, inventory management, procurement, or project management systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP, Oracle, Maximo, EcoSys, Primavera P6, or related platforms is highly desirable.
