Position Title: Material Handler/CDL B Driver

Position Summary:
Catenary Construction
is seeking a dependable and organized Material Handler/CDL B Driver to support field operations by ensuring crews have the materials, tools, and equipment needed to safely and efficiently complete projects. This position plays a critical role in delivering materials to jobsites, organizing the warehouse, performing basic equipment maintenance and repairs, general labor as needed for at warehouse and staging yard and assisting with a variety of operational tasks.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities in support of construction operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Material & Equipment Logistics

• Deliver materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to active jobsites.
• Pick up materials from vendors, suppliers, and project locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Ensure materials are delivered accurately, safely, and on schedule.
• Maintain delivery records, packing lists, and inventory documentation.
Warehouse Operations
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, storage areas, and equipment yards.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with inventory tracking.
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, orderly, and safe.
• Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
Equipment Support
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs on construction equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Perform equipment inspections and report deficiencies.
• Coordinate equipment servicing and repairs as directed.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance and usage.
• Cleaning and maintaining fleet and equipment.
General Operational Support
• Assist project managers, superintendents, and field crews with miscellaneous operational needs.
• Perform general labor and odd jobs as required to support construction activities.
• Assist with facility maintenance and upkeep.
• Support company safety initiatives and maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate pickup trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment (or willingness to be trained).
• Ability to safely operate stake rack trucks and flatbed delivery trucks, delivering materials and equipment to and from active jobsites.
• Ability to use simple cell phone applications
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. 80 lbs (bag of concrete equivalent)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
Preferred
• Previous warehouse, logistics, construction, or equipment maintenance experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices.
• CDL license or ability to obtain one.
Physical Requirements
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
