Master Roll Manufacturing is seeking a qualified General Labor-Material Handler Candidate


Summary of the Job:   Material handler is capable of performing tasks such as building crates,shipping and receiving,cleaning and maintaining the production shop work environment.  Has flexibility in duties, is organized, has time management and can work independently at a fast pace.   The Material handler must be able to accept and perform duties outlined by the Supervisor in a punctual manner.  

Material Handler Essential Functions:

  • Outgoing shipment preparation including building crates, packaging, crating, labeling, staging
  • General shop cleanliness.  Empty trash containers, shovel and remove chips/turnings.
  • Incoming shipment verification, staging, labeling, stocking
  • Material handling, shop supply handling, staging at various work centers
  • Material prep including saw cutting using band saw table
  • Forklift Operation-Loading/unloading material to trucks
  • Great Attendance
  • Time management

Material Handler Required Skills:  

  • Read tape measure, basic math
  • Table saw, circular saw, band saw, reciprocating saw
  • Hand tools including drills, impacts, angle grinders
  • Overhead crane, jib hoists
  • Proper lifting techniques up to 50 lbs
  • Operate drill press
  • Operate forklift
  • Operate pallet jack
  • Operate dump hoppers
